# How To Add A "GCs/GRs" Block To An Estimate Report
A "GCs/GRs" block puts your general conditions and general requirements into the report — the milestone schedule across the job, the cost items that run against it, and the monthly cash flow they add up to. It is how a report shows not just what the general conditions cost, but when that money is spent.
To add a "GCs/GRs" block to an estimate report follow these steps.
Navigate to the desired estimate and select the "Report" tab, then open the report you want to edit.
Press "Add Block" at the top of the "Report Structure" panel on the right.
Find "General Conditions" in the block list. It is described as "General cost condition milestones and items".
NOTE, this card only appears when the estimate has general conditions set up. If the "GCs/GRs" tab is empty there is nothing to add.
Drag it into the report and drop it on the line where you want it to sit. Blocks are added by dragging, not by clicking.
Press the block in the "Report Structure" panel to open its settings.
Open the "CONTENT" section.
Under "SECTIONS", choose which halves of the block to show:
"Milestones" — the schedule bar chart, one row per milestone across the months of the job.
"Items" — the table of general conditions cost items beneath it.
Under "ITEM COLUMNS", choose which figures each item row shows:
"$/Mo" — the monthly cost of that item.
"Burden" — the burden percentage applied to it.
"Total" — what the item comes to across its months.
Under "ROWS", switch on "Monthly Cash Flow" to add a summary row totaling the spend in each month. It is on by default.
Open the "LAYOUT" section to set the "Padding" inside the block, the "Margin Bottom" beneath it, and "Page Break After" if this block should be the last thing on its page.
Open the "STYLE" section to set "Header Text Color", "Header Background Color", "Header Font Weight", "Font Size", and the "Border Bottom" width and "Border Color".
NOTE, the month columns come from the general conditions' own duration, so a nine month job produces nine columns in both the milestone chart and the cash flow row. Change the duration on the "GCs/GRs" tab and the block follows.
NOTE, an item's percentages across the months are the allocation set on the "GCs/GRs" tab, not something you set here. The block reports the allocation; it does not change it.
We recommend leaving "Monthly Cash Flow" on whenever the milestones are shown. The schedule tells the reader when the work happens and the cash flow row tells them when it is paid for, and the two together are the reason to put this block in a report at all.
