# How To Create A "Bid Package" In Your Estimate(s)

To create a "**Bid Package**" in your estimate(s) follow these steps.

1\. Navigate to the desired estimate.

2\. Once inside the estimate, select the estimate "**Bid Packages**" button. **NOTE**, this button will only be visible if your subscription plan includes this feature.

3\. Click the yellow "**Add Bid Package**" button located near the upper right corner.

4\. Type in a "**code**", "**label**" & optional "**description**" for the bid package you are creating. Ie. Code "**03000**", label "**Concrete**" & optional description "**Bid package that compiles all structural and non-structural concrete cost fields**".

5\. Press the yellow "**Save**" button once you are done configuring your bid package.

6\. Once created, you have the option to add "**Cost Fields**", "**Inclusions**", "**Exclusions**" & "**Bids**" when you click the yellow "**Add**" button located near the upper right corner of each bid package.

7\. You can also add "**Cost Fields**" to your bid package(s) by going into the "**Detailed Budget**" tab and adding via the "**Bid Package**" column. Make sure this column is visible by pressing the "**Columns**" button located near the upper right corner and ensure the "**bid package**" box is checked.

8\. Once visible, select the desired "**Bid Package**" from the dropdown.

9\. You have the ability to assign "**Bid Packages**" for cost fields only.

Please note that we highly recommend creating your bid packages in the template(s). This will allow you to use these "**templatized**" bid packages for future estimates without the need of having to create bid packages for specific estimates.
