# How To Create A "Bid Package" In Your Template(s)

To create a "**Bid Package**" in your template(s) follow these steps.

1\. Navigate to global "**Settings**" button located at the horizontal top menu options.

2\. Once in settings, navigate to the "**Configuration**" section located on the left vertical menu.

3\. Select "**Record Templates**".

4\. Select the template which you wish to create the "**bid package**" for.

5\. Select the "**Bid Packages**" tab.

6\. Click the yellow "**Add Bid Package**" button located near the upper right corner.

7\. Type in a "**code**", "**label**" & optional "**description**" for the bid package you are creating. Ie. Code "**03000**", label "**Concrete**" & optional description "**Bid package that compiles all structural and non-structural concrete cost fields**".

8\. Press the yellow "**Save**" button once you are done configuring your bid package.

9\. Once created, you have the option to add "**Cost Codes**", "**Inclusions**", "**Exclusions**" & set "**Default Bidders**".

Please note that we highly recommend creating your bid packages in the template(s). This will allow you to use these "**templatized**" bid packages for future estimates without the need of having to create bid packages for specific estimates.
