How To Default To Detail Row Level Estimating ILO Cost Field Level Estimating

To default to "Detail Row" level estimating ILO "Cost Field" level estimating in your template(s) follow these steps.

1. Navigate to global "Settings" button located at the horizontal top menu options.

2. Once in settings, navigate to the "Configuration" section located on the left vertical menu.

3. Select "Record Templates".

4. Select the template which you wish to modify.

5. Select the "WBS" tab.

6. Navigate to the "Actions" column which is located to the far right.

7. Click the "3 Dot" button for the desired "Cost Field".

8. Select the "Edit Field" option.

9. Turn on the "Default Detail Estimating" toggle.

Please note a cost field must have detail rows for it to default to detailed estimating. When defaulting to detailed estimating, the "UOMs" associated with the individual detail rows drive the cost field total.
