# How To Enter Or Update Design Data For A Historical Project Record

To enter or update design data for a historical project record follow these steps.

1\. Select desired project from the **Project Database** page.

2\. Select the desired historical project record. Historical project records are identified with an "**H**" on the left.

3\. Click on the "**Design Data**" tab.

4\. Select the desired design data category and applicable design data field. You also have the option to search for the design field using the search box.

5\. Once the applicable design data field has been identified, use the "**Value**" column to enter or update the design data field.

6\. There is no save button, data is automatically saved.
