# How To "Hide Zero Dollar Rows" In An Estimate Report

A conceptual estimate usually carries cost codes that have not been priced yet, and they show up in the report as rows of $0.00. "Hide zero dollar rows" drops them from the report so the deliverable shows only what has been costed, without you having to delete anything from the estimate.

To hide zero dollar rows follow these steps.

Navigate to the desired estimate, select the "Report" tab, and open the report you want to change.

In the "Report Structure" panel on the right hand side, click the block you want to change — the setting is available on the "Cost Estimate" block and on the "Input Summary" block.

The panel switches to "Block Settings". Open the "Structure" section.

Turn on the "Hide zero dollar rows" switch.

The report rendering on the left updates straight away, and every row with a zero total drops out.

Turn the switch back off at any time to bring those rows back. Nothing is deleted from the estimate — this only changes what the report shows.

Please note that the setting looks at a row's total cost, not its unit cost. A cost code with a real total but a $0.00 unit cost — "General Conditions Totals" and "Concrete Work Total" in the screenshots — stays in the report. It also applies to the one block you set it on, so if your report has more than one cost block, set it on each.
